Christmas Tree

We have had the tree up for awhile and have slowly been adding decorations to it. Well, today for FHE we finished decorating it. The boys were not as excited as the girls to decorate, but they enjoyed eating candy canes. :-)

Oh, we also have a tiny tree next to it that the kids have added toys too as well.

When we first started this evening, the girls jumped at the chance to start decorating.

This is what the Johnson boys were doing. See Bill's face? He wasn't too happy about me taking a picture of this. :-)

Nathan started getting into it.

Now Justin is helping out.

I really don't know what Lily is doing here, but it looks like she is getting ready to pounce.

The kids after their hard work.

The kids making faces. Well, Nathan isn't. LOL

Rebekah is into doing peace signs. Silly girl.

This is the end result.

We really need a bigger tree, this is not all of the ornaments we own. Plus we haven't yet let the kids pick out their own ornaments yet, so we will be doing that next week for FHE. We are going to go to the store and do our regular family Christmas present exchange. We can't afford for each person to buy a present for each person, so we do a drawing. We write our names on a piece of paper and draw to see who we get. Then Bill and I split up, each of us with two kids, and then we go looking for a present for who we got for about $10. The kids can't wait. And then we will all go pick out our own ornament. So you add those new ornaments to the ones we still haven't made (we have a couple packs of ornaments to make before Christmas), and we REALLY need a bigger tree for next year! Maybe I can get a good deal at the after Christmas sale. Or maybe we will buy a fresh one next year that is really tall. :-)
