Justin Turned 12!

Wow, Justin is 12! He was a good sport and let us throw him a sleepover birthday party AFTER the ward party. He had two cakes.

This one Molly made for the ward party as a birthday cake for Jesus. They forgot to serve it, so she gave it to me to use since the cake I got for Justin was smaller than I anticipated (see below). So I just used the only frosting I had, which happened to be blue, and wrote on it for him. The kids were excited to get "Jesus' cake!"

Here is the tiny ice cream cake. It was cookie dough. Justin LOVED it. He liked both his cakes.

Here is Justin while we are singing "Happy Birthday" to him.

Justin is trying to decide what to wish for....

Justin finally blowing out his candles. He really put thought into his wish.

He got this from a friend. I almost bought it for him; so glad I didn't. It would have been like the birthday when two of his friends gave him the same thing.

The boy that gave this balloon sword to Justin put money in it. His parents do balloon animals and such. Justin debated on whether he should pop the balloon or not.

We got this shirt for Justin. It says, "Life of a gamer" and has all sorts of funny pictures on it.

Now for the AFTERMATH!

And their room.... Hey look, I think I spy some carpet! Shock!!

Even though the house took a beating, it was worth it. All the boys had fun.

Justin's Birthday

My mom made a three tier cake with three sides for the birthdays that were close together: Justin, Lily, and Liam. This is Justin's side of the cake. My mom did an AWESOME job!!

Here are the boys playing video games
Justin got two games for his birthday: Pinball for the Wii and Kung Fu Panda for the Xbox.

Justin was insanely excited to get this remote control flying dragonfly.

Justin being silly as he blew the candles out.

Since Justin's birthday fell on the weekend that Lily got baptized, he got to have his friends over on a different weekend and got another birthday cake! Technically, 4 mini ice cream cakes that I made.

I loved the fun candles. He was trying to blow each one out separately.

Justin opening another remote controlled toy... this one is an ATV one. He LOVES this one too.

Justin waiting for Bill to open the ATV car. He had 4 friends come over to stay the night -in the picture are just two of them. They stayed up late playing video games and eating junk food - which is exactly what he wanted to do. :-) I can't believe he is now 11! He is growing up so fast and almost as tall as me! He is a special kid and has a heart of gold.
I love you Justin!!!!

Lily's 8th Party

My little Lily turned 8! Can you believe it?

Lily wanted a Halloween Birthday Party since the party was just after Halloween. She had her friends dress up in their Halloween costumes and we did Halloween stuff. Here is her cake.

Lily really liked this present

Lily loves kitties, in case you didn't know...

Lily got a tiny life-like feeling kitty toy.

Lily laughing at everyone being silly while singing.

Blowing out the candles.

This picture cracks me up. I don't know if you can tell, but the girl in the blue dress is making a fun face because the girl on the right with the witch costume was pretending to flick food at her.

My little chocolate-faced girlie.

Why does this face not surprise me??

Here are some of the girls showing off their creations!

Now that Lily is 8, she will be getting baptized soon. She can't wait! It is hard for me to realize that she is 8 - time has flown so fast...

I love you Lily! Happy Birthday!
