Justin is a hoot. I don't think he realizes all the silly things he says and does.
Here are some more I can think of:
One day Justin asked me if he could have a Popsicle. I told him he could. He then asks me, "Where are they?" I think and say, "Um, in the freezer...." LOL Where else would they be??
A couple weeks ago, I was dog tired and Nathan had left the living room light when he hurried out the door to catch the middle school bus. I laid on the green armchair and asked Justin, "Could you please turn the light off?" He walks over to the light switch as asks me, "You want me to turn the light on?" I felt like smacking my forehead. "Uh no, could you turn it off?"
I tell you, sometimes I feel that his brain is like an engine where all cylinders are not firing properly.
Here are two more I don't think I wrote down:
We were making famous people and fictitious people on our Wii into Miis. For the life of me, I can't remember which person we were making. So for the sake of argument, we will just say we were making a Darth Vader Mii. All of our family was sitting in the living room discussing and giving input on how to make the Mii look like Darth Vader. When we felt we were done, and were pleased with how it looked, we saved our Darth Vader Mii and were deciding on who to do next. Justin pipes up and says, "Hey, let's make a Darth Vader Mii!" We all broke out into laughter and looked at him. "We just did him, you even helped." LOL
Now the most recent one is from last night. We were watching the DVD of Disney's Enchanted. It has fun special features on the DVD like deleted scenes and bloopers. We all decided to watch the bloopers. Right after it was done, and we all laughed at the silly bloopers, the DVD transitioned back to the Special Feature's screen and Justin blurts out, "Hey, let's watch the Bloopers." With the exception of Justin, we ALL burst out laughing and had to explain to him that is what we just did. He looked at us with a blank face and said, "Oh." Then, as if a light switch went off, he understood what just took place and his face started turning bright red. It was funny.
I am sure more will follow...... Until then.......

And I thought I was weird!
After searching the web, I came across something that really cracks me up.
The whole wedding party are dressed up as Klingons! Well if that don't beat all?! LOL
(PS, No Jana, I may be crazy but I wouldn't do this! LOL)

Just Another Justin Jargon |Celeste Johnson
We are watching Sunday night football. The Patriots vs Bills. It is the 4th quarter and the Patriots are winning. The Bill's fumble and the ball flies into the air, a Patriot player catches it, and books it towards their endzone, scoring a touchdown. The replays were cool and I say, "Wow, that is awesome." Justin says, "Yeah, he should be an NFL player."

More Justin Jargon | Celeste Johnson
It was quite cold this morning. Justin said, "It was so cold last night, I had to sleep under my blankets."

Justin Jargon | Celeste Johnson
Sometimes Justin makes sense, if only to himself.
"I have an earache. And my ear hurts too."
Got to love the kid!

Why Do I Do the Things I Do? | Celeste Johnson
I don't understand why my kids do the things they do. One moment they are the most brilliant children in the world, the next moment, it as if their brain has evaporated. That being said, sometimes I don't understand the things I do.
My kids are lucky to have great teachers that allow them to have water bottles to drink during class. Finally, people have realized how important water is to people, especially kids. The first week of school, Justin holds out a water bottle and asks me if he can take it to school.
Rebekah and Lily pipe in, "We want some too!!" I agree and send Justin out to the van to get a couple of half full water bottles. One of my biggest pet peeves is when my kids waste water because they only finish part of the bottles then open a new one a day later because they don't know which is theirs. At any given time, we can have up to 10 open and half full water bottles knocking around the floor of my van.
After some complaining, Justin finally goes outside and returns with two water bottles, 3/4 full of good water. Where we live has good tap water, but there still is a slight odd taste to it now and again. I prefer bottled water over our tap water.
I am sitting on the couch getting the girls' hair ready for school. Over their screaming from me brushing out their snarls, I can vaguely hear the sound of the kitchen water faucet. I stop and realize that Justin is filling up the rest of the water in the bottles. At first I was quite relieved thinking that Justin was being a great big brother and finish filling up the water bottles. That feeling lasted a few moments before I realized he had emptied out the bottles of GOOD water and filled it all with tap.
Like a twig under a fat man, I snapped. I went all Jekyll and Hyde and started screaming left and right at poor Justin. "Why would you dump out perfectly good water and fill it with tap water??!!" And, "That's just stupid!" And other mean things.
It was if I was having an out-of-body experience and I was off in the distant watching this poor little kid with me yelling at him. His sweet face had fallen, his eyes were filled with tears, and I could tell I hurt his feelings.
By this point, the other kids in the house had retreated to their room for safety. It broke my heart to see how I would let something so innocent (like him trying to help me) get me so enraged.
Like a soda being opened for the first time, I whooshed back into myself to stop my ranting and raving.
I immediately stopped yelling, went over to Justin and gave him a big hug. I apologized for acting like that and he just looked at me, still stunned from my outburst. I told him how much I love him and thanked him for helping me.
He said, "I just wanted to help."
Sometimes, being a mom isn't easy. In fact, it is downright difficult. The rat race of life can cause so much stress and if we allow it to integrate into ourselves and let it run the show, we can hurt those closest to us.
I will never forget this day. I believe I learn far more from my kids than they have learned from me.
